Zesty, golden, slick.
The cooperative cellar of the winegrowers of Castelas was created in 1952 when a handful of winegrowers combine efforts to develop the wines of the Cotes du Rhone, Cotes du Rhone Villages Signargues, AOP Tavel and IGP du Gard. The cellar's vineyards covers 450 hectares mainly in Cotes du Rhone with a combined 45 families of cooperative winegrowers.
This blend of Viognier (60%) and equal parts Roussanne and Grenache Blanc delivers fresh orange blossoms and yellow apples, wild honey, flint, star fruit, grapefruit and vague peachy notes. It's fresh and zesty with attractive weight and slick texture. Good deptht and creaminess.
